You were currently walking down one of the halls of the Survey Corps HQ, going about your daily business, when you saw him. The one man in the entire army that could make you a stuttering mess, Lance Corporal Levi. You tried to remain calm as you neared each other, walking in opposite directions down the hall, but you just couldn't seem to stop the flood of heat that escaped its way onto your face.

Just as he was about to reach you, you threw up a hasty salute and greeted your superior, "La-Lance C-Corporal Levi."

Without even glancing your way you just barely hear him mutter back, "Cadet [l/n]..." And with that, he continued his way down the hall.

Instantly, you face broke into a smile, and you too continued your way down the hall, mentally cheering, because the man you were so head over heels for knew your name!

It may seem silly to most, but even that little bit made you extremely happy. While you knew that you were very much so enamored with the guy, you also realized that being the man he is, there was hardly any chance he would ever notice you let alone love you back, so you accepted your one-sided love as such, and would celebrate these little victories with yourself. If nothing else, you were happy to even get to experience such a fleeting moment of happiness in the cruel world you lived in.

But as the thoughts flooded your mind, it caused you to become completely oblivious of the short man who had stopped in the hall and watched your retreating form with a stoic yet longing look on his face, until he could no longer see you. Only then did he continue on his way.
